It is an indica dominant (80% indica, 20% sativa), but the structure of the leaves is specific to sativa, they are very thin and long. When grown indoors, this variety can reach 160 centimeters, and when grown outdoors, it may even reach a height of 220 centimeters. It has very dense and bright buds, completely covered with resin.
It gives a harvest of about 500-600 grams per plant. It prefers warm and Mediterranean climates when grown outdoors. If enough light, nutrients and water are provided, this variety can reach the height of a tree that will yield high. Its flowering period is about 8 weeks, but there were cases when it bloomed even 7 weeks after cultivation.
Speaking of aroma and scent, Northern Lights is among the most popular varieties, precisely due to their lack. Thanks to the indica dominance, it has strong relaxing and calming effects. Therefore, it may also be successfully used for medical purposes to alleviate depression, insomnia, and reduce pain.
